Debbie is our clinical educator as well as a nursing sister at Torbay. She is an amazing nurse and totally committed to the nursing care of children and their families and this is shown every shift she works.
She is so supportive of her colleagues and would go above and beyond to help anyone. She lends a supportive ear to those in need and always gives good, sage advice.
Through her role as clinical educator she has been instrumental in implementing a competency framework ensuring all the team remain up to date on the the skills they need to deliver safe nursing care. She always works with the safeguarding team to ensure everyone has access to safeguarding supervision and the clinical education team to organise simulation sessions within the ward.
Debbie is the most amazing role model for all members of the team and always has a smile for everyone. Thank you for your incredible contribution to paediatrics in Torbay Debbie.
