Christine is an excellent colleague; she is thoughtful and professional and able to consider the opinions of all team members whilst maintaining her own stance, ensuring that all patients are cared for in the most appropriate way. In her role as one of the specialist paediatricians for the eating disorders team, Christine leads the team with a lovely calm approach that is essential in ensuring the whole team remain focussed and embrace the ever increasing workload facing us in the current national mental health crisis. She is able to be patient and maintains a great sense of humour despite the significant challenges our service is facing. I am so grateful to have her as part of our team.

Christine is a brilliant consultant who juggles a huge workload. Christine is always personable, professional and calm, despite managing a challenging and complex specialty (or two!). Christine has a brilliant sense of humour and this allows her to be a strong and motivating leader. Christine inspires strong teamwork and excellent patient care on the ward. Christine is very aware of the needs of her patients and also other staff on the ward and often seeks out moments to catch up with people and provide support of guidance where necessary. Christine is very well respected by her patients, their families and her colleagues on the ward and is a pleasure to work alongside.

Christine is very professional, knowledgeable, skillful, supportive and caring. She is very calm in potentially very stressful situations for all involved, especially for the children and their families. Christine always has time to listen, to help understand and direct. She is a excellent team leader to the whole ward, peers, doctors, nurses and the wider multi disciplinary team.
Christine is exceptional with the children she cares for and their families, with great communication and interpersonal skills. It’s always a pleasure working with her.
