Tasha is one of the most valuable team members on level 12. She works tirelessly within the APNP team striving to make improvements for patients and their families. If you ever talk to Tasha she always has an improvement project on the go and her positivity and drive for service improvement is infectious!
Aswell as supporting the medical team on CAU along with the other APNP team she runs clinics on CYPOD, supports on ward rounds and she does this with the biggest smile showing how much she loves her job!
Tasha is so supportive of all her colleagues especially the nursing team, with her positive drive and motivation she encourages staff to be the best they can be and will always be on the sideline cheering them on. She is an excellent teacher and mentor and the nursing team love that and will always advocate for the nursing team.
Tash has an exceptional relationship with our patients and their families, she shows such compassion and always strives to provide the best care she can for them.
Tasha is always there to support you both personally and professionally, her door is always open with a listening ear.
This year Tasha has also been an active member of the CAU/ CHDU Woman’s well being group, this was introduced to offer supportive and information on a wide range of health topics every month. This was greatly received and helped get staff talking about those difficult topics whilst offering a listening ear. Further more Tasha along with her colleague are now involved in introducing a fertility policy following discussion with the hospitals chief executive. This will support fellow colleagues and members of staff throughout the trust.
Natasha is the absolute epitome of an Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner. She is not only proficient in her role but she’s enthusiastic, helpful and always so kind to everyone. Tasha is always there to lend a hand across all areas of Paediatrics, whether it’s supporting the nursing and medical staff on CAU or running the clinics in Outpatients, she still has time to teach and share her wealth of knowledge with junior colleagues. Tasha is always calm and faces any situation with an expert hand and a smile, it’s a privilege to call her a colleague.
An all round amazing person! Tasha has outstanding clinical knowledge and skills that she is always challenging and developing. She goes out of her way to ensure the children and families receive the best care, and have the best experience they can whilst in hospital. Nothing is ever too much trouble when it comes to her patients. She works hard to support both the nursing and medical teams, not only clinically, but by striving for positive change and continuous improvements in the department. Her enthusiasm to pull together as a team is inspiring. She has personally been a huge support to me over several years and she makes a job I love even better. Thank you for being you.
