Courtney does fantastic work for the unit, she keeps everything organized so that when the nurses need something in a hurry, it in the right place and stocked up! Nothing is too much for her and she always greets everyone with a smile. It’s always lovely to see her out and about on the ward.
Courtney is an unsung hero. She communicates amazingly with all members of staff and there is nothing she isn’t willing to support the team with. Her organisation skills are impeccable and she’s always so on it! We are so so grateful for her as a member of our team.
Courtney joined the neonatal team in the last year and is a delight to have around. she is incredibly polite, proactive with her decision making and extremely reliable. She always has a smile on her face and is extremeIy efficient. I hope she understands the importance of her role in keeping the neonatal unit running on a day-to-day basis.
Since joining Exeter NNU, Courtney has taken her role as Ward Clerk to the next level. She regularly supports the team to develop new processes and organisation of resources. She is quick to think outside of the box, and is always going over and above to help out (often far beyond her remit). Exeter NNU would be lost without her.
Courtney has made a huge contribution to the efficient running of the unit. She is super capable and works independently to ensure the rest of team can undertake their roles without having to take time away from patients in order to complete administrative tasks. Courtney has compiled admission and discharge packs for us so that the families benefit from written information in a timely manner and can be discharged promptly. Courtney has made such a difference to the smooth running of the unit.
Courtney is the nnu ward clerk who excels in every aspect of her work. Courtney relates to staff & parents in a very natural, friendly & genuine way which enables everyone to feel comfortable and welcome. She is open, kind & friendly, I have never witnessed her be anything other than enthusiastic and happy to be at work. No ask is too much, no job is too big or small. She is an absolute delightful colleague. Nnu is very very lucky to have her.

Courtney is a credit to our team she is a brilliant ward clerk. Nothing is ever to much trouble and she is always looking for ways to make our lives easier. Discharges are so much quicker with her discharge leaflet packs and organised discharge folder. Courtney will also help out the the NNU assistants when it’s busy with cleaning cots and equipment. She’s an asset to our team.
Courtney is the most fantastic ward clerk. she has streamlined many of the packs of paperwork we give to families and eased time pressures on the nursing staff by going above and beyond in her role and taking on additional responsibilities.
