Beautiful person who is a brilliant team worker & always willing to help. She has a wonderful bedside manner & is lovely to work with.

Amy is an excellent nurse! Not only for her clinical skills in looking after sick patients and leadership skills by coordinating shifts at only a few months qualified, but also the compassion and kindness she shows to all of her patients. She always makes the time to get to know her patients, no matter if they’re 2 or 17, Amy will chat to them! She is excellent at using play as a therapeutic tool and is often seen running round with patients making them laugh and smile, ensuring they know hospital is a safe place – and also a fun place if she’s on shift! She goes above and beyond to improve the ward, by creating Amazon wish lists and spending her time decorating the ward to make it a child friendly environment. Amy cares so much about the ward and making it a better place for children and young people, she does not just turn up to do her shift and go home again, she truly gives her all.

Amy is a delight to work with. She is always so calm, reassuring and willing to get on with whatever is needed. She is absolutely incredible with her patients and families and shows excellent leadership skills already.

Amy is a wonderful young nurse. The patient is at the forefront of everything Amy does, she shows amazing compassion and patience in challenging times and will help out wherever she can. Amy works in all areas and is so adaptable. When working on our assessment unit Amy shows fantastic skills and initiative and steps up to make decisions whenever required, sharing her thoughts and concerns with the wider team. Whenever Amy is on the shift she lifts the spirits with her happy persona. Amy is a fantastic advocate for the children and their families, treating everyone with respect, dignity and upmost care.
