As our clinical educator Migs has a wealth of knowledge and experience which she shares within the unit. She is always keen to encourage and support our individual personal development and increase our knowledge, skills and understanding of all aspects of paediatric care. She will work alongside new members of staff and students and enables all ward staff to keep up to date with competencies. Migs is a great teacher and helps less confident staff to increase their skills. Regular ward simulations, which she is involved with have given both nursing and medical staff great learning opportunities to increase practical aspects of care.
Migs is a fantastic clinical educator and is really passionate about the team being up to date with their skills and challenging the team in order to advance their clinical skills. She has introduced regular SIMs to enable us to practice skills in a safe environment.
