Vicki is a great asset to our paediatric team on Caroline Thorpe Ward. As one of Diabetes Specialist nurses she has an extended role within the team and her commitment to the care of our young people with diabetes is amazing. Vicki is always so supportive when we have children on the ward with diabetes, educating not only the child and family but also keeping the nursing staff up to date with developments in this aspect of nursing. She establishes a great rapport with the families and gains the trust of the children within her care. Vicki is always approachable and happy to share her knowledge with clear explanations to increase our understanding. She is a great asset to the team.
