Nominated for Non-Clinical Staff of the Year Award
Works at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust
Claire has spent a lot of time working with our team to change our working systems, appointment setup and bookings system during Covid. Systems had to change really quickly and then have changed several times since in order to improve the service we offer and streamline our work. She has always listened to what would benefit us as clinicians and then balanced this with what works from an admin perspective. Claire has supported us through these changes and been available when we’ve had questions.
Claire is always personable and happy to help with any admin issues we may have, despite being short staffed in her own department. She leads her team with continuous enthusiasm and endeavours to do her best for all members of the MDT that need her help. She is always of a happy disposition, and although she often has abrupt and rude parents on the phone, she is always polite and courteous, maintaining high levels of professionalism. Claire has the upmost respect from all who work with her and within our department. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She is a valued member held in the highest regard. Claire has been an outstanding team leader at the Child Development Centre during the craziest of years, constantly stepping up, helping in other roles and taking on others’ work when needed. She is a hurricane of energy but even when so busy she always has time to support her team, both with work tasks and personal support as a team leader, and she is never without a smile on her face even on the toughest of days! |
