| “If it isn’t right, she will tell you; if your not doing something, she will tell you to ‘buck up’ and if your not where your meant to be, yep she will tell you! Wendy has more years of experience than i care to count and she is an absolute asset to the team, not even a permanent member of the team but she is sorely missed when she is not here. You usually hear her before you see her but patients and parents love her for it. She will be your best friend and fight for her patients to have the right care at the right time. She clearly loves being a nurse and keeps coming back for more despite how challenging a shift maybe, then she will go home to the farm and birth a cow! This demonstrates the hard work, motivation and enthusiasm she puts into her work every day. She will encourage others and brings out the confidence in anyone she works with, both nursing and medical staff alike. She will advocate and support you no matter who you are or what your background, sharing her knowledge and passion for the profession as she goes about her daily tasks! An inspirational role model and leader, she can turn her hand to anything!
Wendy always brings a smile and good humour to any shift. She willingly shares her years of experience and knowledge with her medical and nursing colleagues. Ensuring the patients always receive the best of care. Wendy is much liked by the patients and families and always gives 100% where ever she works on level 12, Paediatrics.” |
