Suman is an incredible asset to Torbay paediatrics. He is dedicated and clearly enjoys his work. He has a huge knowledge base and takes opportunities to teach others frequently. He is always calm and communicates with the team in a succinct and thorough manner, always seeking others views and valuing their input. He is an excellent role model within the paediatric team and is highly respected by all of his colleagues. He is supportive and always willing to go above and beyond within the team taking on more than his share of the workload. He is always so kind and such a lovely person who frequently checks on colleagues well being, even if its just to check if they’ve had lunch. He is always empathetic, reassuring and kind in interactions with children and their families. He’s embraces change and new ideas and demonstrates his proactivity during every shift. I can’t express enough what an amazing paediatric doctor Suman is, he literally ticks every box and I enjoy every shift with him. After having a vast experience in Paediatrics in India, coming to the UK was a brave move. Working for the past 2 years at Torbay, Suman has proved his mettle and is best at his job. He is a excellent clinician and a good person as well. Suman is an incredibly supportive member of the team. He excellently balances patient interactions promoting an outstanding level of care whilst being dedicated to maintaining a smooth service despite heightened pressures on the system. He proactively engages juniors in education opportunities through teaching and encouraging independence in practical skills whilst always being available to support as needed. Suman is an enthisiastic team player, self-learner & has been hugely adaptive to the needs of the service. He provides excellent leadership to the team and has been a role model for his hard work with a calm presence. Suman is a pleasure to work with. He is always punctual and always polite. Even at the end of the most stressful shift, he is calm and gives a thorough handover. He is kind and respectful to all colleagues and is so well liked by all the departments he works in. An all round great colleague. |
