| Tanya has been working for the Trust for many years now and has cared for many children who have now grown into adults. Tanya has always given 1000% when caring for children whether that was 10 years ago or this present day! Tanya goes above and beyond her own job role regularly by supporting other areas or teams. Her knowledge and experience is inspiring, she is a truly exceptional nurse and is more than happy to share her knowledge with anyone that is keen to learn. She is an absolute asset to level 12, the children and families she cares for would most definitely agree! Tanya is a committed children’s oncology nurse. Her patients and families are always happy to see her. She is so dedicated and committed to her role, she offers support to families at any time, even when she is not at work. She is an essential part of the multidisciplinary team and is so supportive of her medical and nursing colleagues. She is always willing to teach and support trainees and nursing staff who are new to the oncology service. She has such amazing compassion and empathy and is able to direct and encourage patients and families through their oncology journey making her an outstanding oncology nurse. |
