| Emma is a passionate and dedicated neonatal nurse who strives to provide outstanding holistic care to neonates and their families. Her extensive knowledge and experience in neonatal care enables her to not only just achieve this outstanding level of care, but enables her fellow nursing and medical colleagues to do the same. Furthermore, Emma provides excellent levels of support to her junior nursing colleagues, assisting them in their career development. Emma is an incredible member of the NICU MDT and will always endeavour to assist her colleagues with their workload wherever possible. Her brilliant sense of humour and personality also enables her to provide much needed emotional support to parents and colleagues alike.
Emma is an amazing NICU nurse and it was a joy knowing she was on shift. Emma supported me many times in delivery suite helping stabilise and transfer babies to the unit. Nothing is ever too much trouble and she is always proactive and willing to help the team. She will ensure all the tasks are completed for her patient in a timely manner and will help wherever she can such as taking bloods etc. She is calm and efficient even in stressful scenarios such as during resuscitation. She has a lovely compassionate bedside manner with the families and is supportive of all her colleagues. She is always cheerful and a pleasure to work with. |
