| The NDHT Safeguarding Children Team go above and beyond in their work to support both children and families in need as well staff working with these children and families. They have worked tirelessly to meet the increasing need and complexity over the last few years. Over the lockdown periods the team volunteered an on-call service. The admin staff in the team support this work to an excellent level and themselves often work out of their contracted hours offering support both to their team and to Trust staff. In addition to this the Nurse Consultant and Specialist nurses lead innovation in practice for Devon wide services in a number of areas including Early Help and the SARC provision. This teams close working, dedication and enthusiasm for their roles is exemplary. |
