| Lucie is an exceptional nurse and a role model to many. The junior nursing staff look up to her and aspire to be like her. Lucie has years of critical care experience and knowledge and never hesitates to support her nursing and medical colleagues. Lucie not only manages her High Dependency patients with compassion and skill, she also supports all of her colleagues on level 12. Lucie teaches and supports the junior staff and leads by example. Nothing is too much trouble, whether it’s helping clinically or just offering a listening ear. Lucie listens to the staff and supports and guides them when required.
Junior sister on chdu who has progressed as a recent band 6. Who has demonstrated excellent leadership skills, whilst juggling a busy clinical shift and being in charge of the paediatric floor, during some challenging shifts. Remains calm, whilst prioritising workload and balancing staff/patients/doctors across the unit. Constantly giving off a feeling of reassurance which helps staff to continue without worrying. |
