Kate is dedicated to neonatology and paediatrics. She has worked hard for a Diploma in Neonatal Medicine, earning a distinction alongside working not just her usual hours, but numerous additional hours to support staff shortages. She is an excellent team member and supports all those who work alongside her professionally and personally. She is committed to supporting breastfeeding and promoting all the health benefits it is associated with. She dedicated time to become a breastfeeding peer supporter and is always on hand to offer evidence-based advice and help. She is an exemplary paediatric trainee and I am proud to be her colleague.

Kate is always a pleasure to work with. She is very hard working and conscientious. Her dedication to neonates goes beyond what is expected of a paediatric trainee.

Katie is inspiring. She has had more than her fair share of knocks and adversity during her training period but seems to adapt to these with pragmatism, good humour and courage. Her commitment to paediatrics and her fellow colleagues is humbling and she overflows with positivity and kindness.
