Nominated for Non-Clinical Staff of the Year Award
Works at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust
Kirsty has moved from being one of the team to being a leader over the last few years which is never easy. She has taken to the role with gusto and always tries to maintain a can do attitude to her work. She treats everyone with respect and is open to feedback and discussion about how to improve the service offered. As a team leader she needs to maintain great communication within her own team. It is also vital that she communicates well with others to ensure her team are fulfilling there role. Recently we have introduced a new process for booking BCG’s and Kirsty has worked with the nursing team to implement this and ensure a smooth transition. She has considered each step and worked with us to ensure her team will understand the changes and be able to follow the process. Kirsty is supportive of her team and gives feedback appropriately, she is able to pick up on problems and deal with these too in a professional and caring manner. Overall Kirsty is someone who is easy to work with, who is open to feedback and prioritises the patients every step of the way. |
