Dawn is a sister and nursing lead for SSPAU in Torbay. She is an absolutely amazing nurse and is literally the best role model for all members of the team.
She is calm and unflappable even when SSPAU is mayhem and always ensures the best possible care is delivered to all of the children and their families. She will escalate concerns promptly and is an effective advocate for those she cares for. She will always give her all no matter what the situation.
She is extremely proactive in taking every opportunity to educate all members of the nursing and medical team. She is the epitome of leading by example.
She is extremely supportive and inclusive to all members of the team, both nursing and medical.
I love every shift that Dawn is on because I know no matter how crazy it is she will keep everyone calm and safe.
