Liz has always supported me and continuously provides support to all colleagues even though sometimes she needs support herself. The patients absolutely adore Liz and if my children ever needed care I’d be over the moon if Liz was to care for them. Liz goes above and beyond for the ward and I hope this nomination gets her recognised for the hard work she continues to do. Liz you are amazing.

Liz has been a wonderful role model to me during my time as a newly qualified nurse. Liz demonstrates exactly what a nurse should be like, compassionate, caring, understanding and supportive. It is always a privilege to work alongside Liz. She continuously strives to achieve the best outcomes for her patients and puts everyone else’s needs before her own. I always feel comfortable approaching Liz for advice as I know she will help and support without judgement. Liz’s high quality of care is often shown through the feedback obtained from patients and their families who feel very lucky to have had her as their nurse at a difficult time.
