Emma is an experienced nurse who has been nursing for many years on bramble Children’s ward . She is always doing the very best for her patients and family’s but also is very supportive to her colleges often when she is looking after the most poorly patients on the ward in HDU. She is very calm in difficult situations she is a great teacher for peers , students
She always acts as an advocate for her patients and strives to learn and improve as a nurse. She often leads band 5,4,3,2meetings on the wards to give nurses a voice to management. Constantly looking at how to improve things for the staff she works with, implement change to improve situations.
She works so hard full time but often working extra shifts to support her nursing colleagues particularly in last few years where staffing has been very short often stepping in last minute to help and support.
Working above and beyond always making sure her colleagues need anything before she comes of shift.
If your child was sick in hospital you would definitely want Emma looking after them. She is dedicated and always looks after patients as she would want one of her family looked after. She is a extremely valued member of the bramble team.
