Vicky is an excellent nurse. She is hard working, dedicated and has a remarkable ability to remain calm no matter what. In her role as one of the mental health nursing team she works so hard to ensure the best care is given to all the children, young people and families in our care. She literally never appears to be phased or flustered even though the current unprecedented mental health crisis means that our patient group often times present with significant challenging behaviours. Vicky quite simply gets the job done in a kind, compassionate, empathic way. All of these attributes make her an excellent colleague and and excellent candidate for this award.
