Debs is the most supportive nurse in the whole world. She nurtures the new starters, the students and makes sure the rest of the team are ok. She’s the go-to person for a good chat when things get too much. She is such an encourager, a grafter and always makes time for everyone. The queen of education, she will make sure you’re up to date with your mandatory training and chase you around for your competencies – you can’t hide from her, she WILL find you and she WILL make sure you’re up to date. There is very little she doesn’t know.
Everyone needs a Debs on their ward and I’m so glad she’s ours.
