Kate is our hospital educator on the ward and such an invaluable member of our team. She does an amazing job at supporting our children and young people on the ward both educationally but also emotionally. She is always cheerful and upbeat being a listening ear for staff when needed! Kate communicates well with the wider team valuing each persons role in the holistic management of the children and young people we care for. Kate absolutely empower, encourages and enables everyone who she works with. She often goes above and beyond her role offering to sit with patients to allow parents a break. Kate truly is a superstar and we couldn’t manage without her!!
