Dana has been part of the eating disorder team for many years.
The service has seen much change in the last few years and a massive increase in pt work load, in clinics and ward admissions.
Dana has been the one constant throughout a very turbulent time for this patient group and for the ward team.
Her passion, expertise and drive to ensure this patient group get the best care while ensuring the nursing and HCA team receive up to date education , training and supervision is unwavering .
The eating disorder team itself has been under relentless pressure and had to change the way the team works, on many occasions to meet pt demand, Dana is front and centre of driving improvements forward.
Dana, is an expert in her field and has patience beyond anything I have ever seen before, working with this client group is extremely complex and she has the ability and commitment to continue to learn herself, think outside the box when required and above all seeks excellence and to educate staff for a client group that are often mis understood and emotionally taxing to care for.Dana has been part of the eating disorder team for many years.
