Nominated for Educational Supervisor of the Year Award
Works at Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust
Migs has taken on the challenge of educator for the trust. However, she has also been invaluable in helping cover the ward and still have hands on which she is fantastic at. Migs has helped me develop in my role and always there for help and support. Migs has been fantastic with the junior nurses just starting and is constantly aiming for better and higher standards of care delivery.
Whether it is a new staff member or returning staff she will find time to help them and promote the excellence of care that is required for the children and parents on the ward Migs has undertaken a new role of clinical educator at NDDH. This new role has involved a lot of time and hard work to ensure this role works within the paediatric department. Migs is dedicated to ensure that staff feel supported and this is evident especially through the support of new members of staff that started on the ward. Migs has ensured that they feel supported by ensuring there is a robust induction programme and listen to any concerns. |
