Megan has hit the ground running since qualifying and has become a fantastic and well rounded nurse. She has taken every opportunity that has come her way, she has embraced learning new skills that have developed her practice. By undertaking bloods and cannulation training she has been able to enhance the effectiveness of the admission process on CAU. She is confident at being in charge and takes new starters under her wing helping them to settle into what can be a very daunting area. Megan is a fantastic team player who works well within the MDT and engages well with everyone.
She is an exceptional advocate for her patients ensuring that they get the appropriate and timely care that they need. She is confident to stand up for the needs of her patients.

Megan has a very nurturing and supportive nature . she is a welcoming presence on unit , and always appreciative when staff from other areas go there to assist /support . She is confident and thorough , and ensures that well being of patients and colleagues is priority

Megan is a fantastic nurse and it was a joy knowing she was going to be the nurse on shift for CAU. Nothing is ever too much trouble and she is always proactive and willing to help. She always copes under pressure even in stressful scenarios such as resuscitation or emergencies. She would always seek senior support if needed. She has a lovely compassionate bedside manner with patients and families and is supportive of all her colleagues. She is always cheerful and a pleasure to work with.
