| The team demonstrates the principles of the essence of team work. Through the challenges of working together in the covid pandemic all members of the team have ensured that the safety of children, young people and their families has been central to their service priorities. Support to staff who have been providing direct care has been essential and all of the team have worked to ensure that nurses and doctors have been supported to feel safe in their safeguarding decisions and responsibilities. This support of wider Trust staff and of each other has been delivered with kindness, compassion and understanding – from the sharing of information, representation at Torbay MASH , delivery of safeguarding supervision and training to just lending a listening ear , all of the team ensure that high quality service provision is in place for all, however that needs to look. Children accessing care delivered by Trust services are at the forefront of the considerations of this team of positive role models |
