Laura has a great personality. She has a great rapport with Patients and families her colleagues are usually treated to her dry wit and sense of humour on her shifts . Laura can definitely improve staff morale , especially when we have tough shifts . She is warm, caring and a joy to work with.
Laura is always ready with a smile on her face and brings some much needed fun and humour to the team which helps uplift everyone especially on busy shifts.
Laura works closely with our eating disorder patients and will use her knowledge of mental health struggles as well as patients own individual needs to advocate for their voice when needed. Laura shows compassion and a genuine responsibility to patients. Laura supports all family members and makes sure everyone is comfortable especially parents or carers staying over night.
Laura uses her initiative when it is time to carry out patient observations, makes sure the ward is stocked up, clean and tidy and carries out all HCA duties using her experience and skills as committed member of the team.Laura is a valued member of our team on wildgoose! She is hard working and no task is too small.
When Laura is on shift, you know it will be a great shift. Not only is she friendly, approachable and there to support her colleagues but she also ensures she makes you laugh at least once on shift!

Laura is absolutely brilliant to work with, when you are on shift with Laura theres never a dull moment. Laura works effectively with her patients and colleagues, whilst providing much entertainment throughout the shift.
I would like to nominate Laura for the work she does with some of our longer term patients. She gives both them and their families support and encouragement and helps with their recovery. Even when things may be frustrating she is always able to brighten the day and bring a smile or laughter into the ward.
