Jaclyn is fantastic!. She is fun, caring and works incredibly hard. Jaclyn is the one for the job for any new babies admitted to the ward with feeding difficulties, she’ll scope up baby and Mum and get them back on track. Any night shift when Jaclyn is one is already an amazing start. Jaclyn you really don’t know how amazing you are, thank you for everything you do!
Jaclyn is a joy to work with, always smiley and positive. Her skills with new parents and establishing breast feeding is a god send. You can admit a patient overnight having the most difficult time and by the morning she has support them to be breast feeding again and be confident with their new born baby, it’s like magic. She is an inspiration to other health care assistants, recently completing her assistant practitioner training and working as a band 4. She is incredibly hard working and committed to teaching and supporting junior staff. Particularly welcoming to new staff joining the team.
Jaclyn is an absolute amazing member of the team at Louisa Cary, Jaclyn goes above and beyond for her patients, there have been multiple examples of Jaclyn’s amazing care but here is a few examples, we had a long term patient on the ward whose parents weren’t able to stay on the ward at all times, so Jaclyn started a diary for this patient which all staff could add to with an update of the patients day, so parents were able to look through the dairy and see what their child had been doing whilst they weren’t there, they were so appreciative. She has also completed hand/foot paintings for parents of babies who were in the hospital for their first Easter etc. Jaclyn builds an amazing rapport with her patients/families, she is excellent at her job and is an inspiration to all. Jaclyn often works with babies/infants and is a brilliant advocate for these patients who cannot advocate for themselves.
