This year Carly has spent much of her time supporting the staff on Wildgoose being the ward sister and doing some manger roles but also ensuring that the staff were supported and cared for with many difficult situations occurring in the area. Carly did all this while still ensuring that patients and their families were cared for to the highest standard. Many of the students who come through Wildgoose also comment on how lovely and supportive they find Carly.

Carly is a very approachable, friendly junior sister who takes charge of the ward in a professional manner. It’s always a pleasure to work with Carly. She always appears level headed and calm under pressure. Carly never fails to offer her kindness and support to her patients, their families and her nursing colleagues. Carly deserves this nomination.
