I have nominated Gill for this award as I think she has demonstrated outstanding dedication and support to young people admitted with disordered eating in Barnstaple. Gill builds therapeutic relationships with these young people and their families which positively impacts on their clinical and emotional outcomes. Gill’s knowledge and understanding especially with these young people is clearly demonstrated every shift and this has been demonstrated regularly in her teaching and mentoring of new staff on tips and techniques on how best to care for these young people. Gill is always willing to go that extra mile to help and no job is too big or too small. Gill is an assist to our team.
