Reegan has grown in confidence over the last two years, and especially in the last year. The patients on Bramble have been complex and at times very hard work. Reegan has shown great personal growth, has shown just how much he cares for patients in his now senior HCA role, and especially in his progression in his career. He has undertaken courses to ensure he has skills to run clinics with the Drs and use his time effectively within those clinics, which can be very busy. Reegan has shown great advocacy for patients on Bramble, he has been able to de-escalate patients and ensure their safety whilst also making sure colleagues are doing okay. Reegan has a flare for caring, he always has his humour, which patients and families love, and so do his colleagues. He has a natural ability to see beyond the task in hand to provide individualised care and always pushes himself out of his comfort zone.
Reegan is an asset to bramble team. He is amazing at what he does and nothing is ever too much for him. His smile and laugh is contagious and knowing he’s on shift, you know it’s going to be a good one. You tirelessly support our patients wellbeing and promote dignity to all who come in with declining mental health, and have been at the brunt of the struggles around mental health within bramble that has continued this year. The way you care for these patients is wonderful to see, with the outstanding care and compassion you give. You are always inspiring and pushing others to do better in collaboration with your colleagues. You encourage others to carry on even when it is a tough shift, you are always cheering everyone on. Many families and patients love you and have mentioned how wonderful you are. It is clear that you go above and beyond for these patients and not stop until the care you give is excellent.
Reegan is an exceptional HCA on the ward, and a role model who our young people look up to. Reegan thrives in his work, and takes the time to get to know his patients and work colleagues. Reegan provides excellent support to our young people, and will encourage them to do their best, even when they feel like they can’t carry on anymore Reegan does not give up on them and always has fantastic outcomes! Reegan will always advocate and support his patients when and where required and will ensure they always have the best outcomes for them. Reegan supports all his colleagues whether they are new to the role or have been in practice for many years, an example is Reegan put together a step by step guide for new comers on how best to access the schedule in our outpatients department, this was a huge help to everyone! Reegan endeavours to follow the practices code of conduct, and is an amazing role model to follow.
Reegan demonstrates outstanding commitment and care to all patients and their families. Reegan works well with all our mental health patients by providing them with the support they need in difficult times. Reegan is a great part of the team and always willing to help and be an advocacy for patients.
