Jane never hesitates to get stuck in to anything on the ward with things that needs to be done. She communicates well with young people and their families and is always keen for a new challenge. She supports patients amazingly and takes extra care to make sure the care she is providing for them is correct.
Jane started on Wildgoose in May 2022 and had no previous HCA experience. she instantly fitted into the team and has been keen and enthusiastic throughout. She is a great role model to other HCA’s and has shown great skill in teaching new HCA’s their role and responsibilities. Jane supports the nursing team in every way she can and builds up great relationships with patients and their families especially during difficult times. Jane is very kind and caring and an absolute asset to Wildgoose ward.
From the moment Jane joined the Wildgoose team, it was like she had always been there! Jane’s care of the patients is second to none and she supports the nursing staff going above and beyond on every shift. She is the most kind, friendly and helpful person you could meet and its an absolute pleasure to work with her.
Jane shows compassion and empathy for the patients she looks after on the ward. She sits with them when they’re struggling and provides resassurance and support to them and to their family. She is supportive.

Is especially good with patients with mental health/eating disorders and is always keen to learn more and advocate for these patients
