Hannah has grown in confidence the past year and has developed her clinical skills in taking blood, cannulation and carrying out ECGs. Hannah works a lot of the time supporting our eating disorder patients and advocates for their voice in making sure they receive the most effective care. Hannah communicates well with these patients and shows them compassion and care as well as provides for their individual needs. Hannah will sit and play games with patients and will talk to patients about their interests, especially with the patients staying in for a couple of weeks.
Hannah is developing an understanding of mental health and uses that knowledge when dealing with some of our more challenging patients. Hannah will carry out clinical observations as well as HCA jobs in making sure the ward is stocked, tidy and ready for patients.
