It is a tough job raising the voice of children and young people in the wider NHS, particularly when budgets are tight, resources limited and adult numbers outweigh paediatric ones. The One Devon team work endlessly to make the children voices count and ensure that they are fairly represented and not forgotten. It is a difficult and largely thankless task but they keep going, standing up and being counted representing our children at regional and national meeting to ensure we get a fair share of the funding and that children are not forgotten or further disadvantaged by the system.
