I wanted to nominate the Emergency Department this year, there have been quite a few difficult shifts for them this year in resus…..which is hard enough, but when going through building work and the sheer increased business of their department I felt they needed to be recognised. When I have been to ED, I have been asked by a few of their nurses how Bramble staff were doing, and if they needed any support and where to find it. Whichever staff are on can make or break your shifts in PAU, and we really appreciate those that work with us to provide the best care for the patient and those in charge who come round to check on us and let us know we are supported….Lydia in particular always stands out for me, always willing to help and work with us, so a big shout out to Lydia!
