Wow. What an inspiration. Chloe seems to have endless energy and drive to improve the neonatal department in Exeter. She seems to get involved with everything. She is lead nurse for several research studies, transport, and drives quality. Chloe has a very fair manner and is great fun to work with. She has an incredibly caring manner with babies and families and is the most fantastic nurse when the inevitable storm comes in! Chloe is inspiring to all junior colleagues as well as being a fantastic colleague to her other band 6 nurses. She incredibly reliable and well liked all by medical and nursing staff as well as those from the wider MDT. In addition to all of this she is the main organiser for all of the social events that ensure the fantastic team spirit amongst those on the Exeter neonatal unit, is continually strengthened. She will continue to support and inspire all those around her.
Chloe communicates beautifully with parents on the neonatal unit and her friendly nature puts them at ease, even in very stressful situations. She also clearly communicates with staff, and works well within the team. She can be a good team leader in particular in standing up for her colleagues. She is calm in an emergency and effectively communicates, making useful contributions towards the medical management.
Chloe is a kind and compassionate nurse. She is an excellent leader when in charge on the neonatal unit. She is calm in acute situations and resuscitations, anticipating babies needs and supporting the wider team and family. She is always keen to learn and also keen to teach and taught me so much in my first neonatal job. She advocates for her patients and after difficult situations is always keen to meet and debrief with the team to help them learn and improve.
She prioritises staff wellbeing and always checks in on colleagues. She also organises amazing socials to help boost team morale.
Chloe is truly inspirational in her role as a band 6. She is constantly striving to find new challenges, whilst also encouraging others to develop in their roles. Every shift she is on, she supports the medical and nursing teams to carry out their roles effectively , safely and above all has the families of these babies at the forefront. I am extremely proud of the way of the way Chloe shows her dedication, enthusiasm, passion and drive as a Neonatal nurse.
Wow!! Chloe is an amazing well grounded sister on the neonatal unit. She supports her team well, nothings ever to much ask. She ensures everyone on her shift is well supported. Chloe always strives to grow and achieve and learn new skills within her role and is happy to share her knowledge. She is such a role model and someone that i really look up to!
