Caitlin has grown in so much confidence over the last few years, particularly in her skills with HDU patients as she has been gaining experience looking after these patients independently. Always ensuring she is providing the best possible care, and broadening her knowledge on how to look after these patients. Caitlin is a kind, conscientious nurse who always puts her patients at the fore front and acts as an advocate for them always. One incident in particular stands out, where she used her initiative after overhearing a conversation that would have had detrimental effects. Caitlin fully ensured the child’s safety, whilst remaining professional, kind and understanding and treating all parties with compassion and being open and honest. Caitlin demonstrated profound skill thinking on her feet, excellent communication skills and I truly believe if she had not been there the outcome would have been different. Caitlin is so kind and caring, and a wonderful member of the team, always willing to help others and I have enjoyed watching her transition into the incredible nurse she is becoming.
