Emma is the lead for the Bladder & Bowel Care team in Plymouth. She works exceptionally hard to develop the service available for young people & families, despite an increased demand. Thanks to this hard work, waiting times for the service have been significantly reduced. Alongside this, Emma has achieved her MSc in Advanced Practice. As well as supporting her own team – providing exceptional leadership to the Associate Practitioners and Nurses in her team – she also takes a key role in the wider Community Paediatric service. Working with colleagues, Emma has coordinated the delivery of a number of projects and initiatives. She is always happy to help those around her, whether with advice around bladder & bowel care or anything else.
