I honestly, don’t know how I would have coped with some stressful/busy nightshifts without Holly. She is such a source of information and a massive support to her fellow colleagues. Holly over the last year, I have seen her re-find her feet within the Bramble team, after being off on maternity and coming back to a very different ward and lots of new faces. She is a multi-skilled nurse, working in many areas and being the oncology nurse overnight, as well as being the NIC on many occasions, she also supports the NIC immensely when not in charge. Holly always picks up bank shifts to help the ward when short and recently has made it her goal to improve her knowledge on epic and learn more about different things we do within the system, sharing her new knowledge as she goes. Holly is a great advocate for patient safety, especially in PAU – where she loves to work, she builds relationships with the doctors easily and you can see they trust her wholeheartedly with her judgements and recommendations. Holly goes above and beyond for her patients and ensure that the ward work as team for better patient safety and care. Holly has been working hard to get her learn+ up to date, which has been challenging as the ward has been so busy. She has such a bubbly, happy attitude and that makes for a great working environment. I know it will always a good shift if Holly is on, no matter what the night may bring.
