Wendy works more than ever now on the bank on level 12 after retiring a few years ago. Her years of experience is what makes her such an exceptional nurse, her knowledge and skills are next to none.
Her career has take many roles from working on Wildgoose ward, Sister on woodcock ward to working within the community as the Cystic Fibrosis nurse. Patients and families love her, her dedication to them is evident and it is clear to anyone she is passionate and loves what she does.
You’ll hear her before you see her, but that’s what we love about her, she is always there to support our junior and senior doctors with her “”Ere Docy Do’s”” they love her! She welcomes everyone to the team and is a fantastic support to our junior nurses and students.
Wendy will always encourage and push you to be the best you can and will give you that boost of confidence when you need it. She is always there with a listening ear both professionally and personally and gives such good advice she is the “”work mum”” everyone needs, but she will also give tough love when needed.
Working with Wendy is an experience you just can’t describe, you know you will have a fantastic day, with her jokes, laugh and stories of her cows and farm she is the legend of Level 12! I don’t know what we would do without her!
