As the lead nurse for the South Transport Service, Helen has taught and nurtured us from the very start of trying out Transport to becoming competent and confident Transport Nurses. Helen supported us with the transferring of our clinical skills to the transport setting, how to effectively communicate with the teams involved in both retrieving and receiving and the building of these relationships. Reflection on moves completed is undertaken with the upmost care and respect and contributes to a very cohesive team and individual feelings of wellbeing as well as shared learning opportunities. We learnt from the best and I am so proud to be part of her team
