Harriot has excelled in her role as a paediatric nurse since joining the emergency department. She recognises when children are unwell and appropriately prioritises and escalates their care. Harriot is a fantastic advocate for the children and their families, always acting in the best interests of the patient. Harriot seeks appropriate guidance when required and practices within her own scope of practice. She is keen to learn and takes onboard feedback from other staff in order to improve her future practice. Harriot has excellent interpersonal and communication skills which means she works well within the Emergency department team. During a medical emergency Harriot is able to use these skills to ensure that timely interventions are given and that the child and their family are kept informed throughout. Harriot is always a pleasure to work with and shows great potential for her future nursing career.

Harriot joined our team in the last year and has continuously provided excellent care for her patients and is a valued team member.
She is always willing to learn and sets a good example for those around her.
