Dr Nath would be a worthy winner of the consultant hero award. He is wholeheartedly dedicated to enhancing the lives of his patients and families with chronic respiratory problems in Cornwall. Dr Nath leads his multi-disciplinary respiratory team with enthusiasm and excellent leadership and continues to plan for future service enhancements. I admire the way he interacts with his team in such a friendly and positive manner. He is always approachable and will offer a friendly ear to those requiring assistance at all times.

Dr Nath has been a champion in encouraging trainees to further themselves. His trainees find him supportive, encouraging and inspirational. Some even find themselves presenting cases with him at international conferences!

As a parent to one of his patients, I have first-hand experience of Dr Nath’s incredible skills as a paediatrician. Dr Nath has supported my family with utmost care, patience and dedication. He is thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and totally trustworthy. His friendly and caring personality really shines through in everything he does. It has been scary to be on the other side of healthcare, but having Dr Nath by our side has been both inspirational and reassuring.

Dr Nath really does have all of the attributes required to be awarded the Consultant Hero award for 2023.
