I don’t know if a team per say but lindsay and Tara have been doing training with all the nurses and hcas in Torbay emergency department. They are a great team with teaching everyone and helping them feel more confident. They are always talking about what else they can do and how else to teach people. They strive to support staff in knowing and understanding all about the children and young people who come into ED. Showing and speaking about valuable information to support Children and young people, both advocate for all the patients. They both link in resources and references they use, NICE guidelines and video about A-E assessment. Lindsay does great turbo teaching and Tara has done one. Both very educational and great attitudes to teaching.
I had the pleasure to be on the paediatric study day and lindsay training was incredible, then Tara added little other bits of information. Lindsay and Tara are a dynamic duo and make an excellent training team.
