Heather has been my secretary for the last 4 years. Throughout this time we have got to know each other very well.
Heather completes all of her work to the very best of her ability and to her personal standards which are incredibly high. In fact (on a daily basis she goes above and beyond to support me and make my working life easier. Her organisation and efficiency are her forte and the systems she has in place makes sure that nothing fall through the gaps. Her care is always directed for the patients to make sure that they get the very best care and we complete all that we need to despite multiple challenging IT systems.
Heather has clear concise and accurate communication. Not only with me and my colleagues but also with patients who often tell me how wonderful she is – and I agree! The patients find her accessible, easy to talk to and she knows how to contact me to get the answers that she needs without hassling me.
She has created her own contact cards for my most challenging patients so that i can give them our contact details easily – this has been so useful for our acute cardiac patients in particular.
Heather also goes to extra effort to make my life better including coffee, little gifts and surprise chocolate bars – and also walking the dog!!
