Hattie is such an important member of the paediatric oncology MDT. She provides such a holistic overview of the patients and is so important in maintaining their health and wellbeing during and after treatment, aiding their recovery. I know how much the parents value Hattie’s input.
She works closely with colleagues across other sites, ensuring smooth transitions of care.
She has excellent communication skills that she uses with all ages of patients and range of families. She gets to know them all so well and is a source of wisdom and comfort. I really enjoy her insights into the patients and she is always striving to learn more and proactively anticipate problems.
Hattie is also very brave taking on the role of minute taker in our MDTs when our co-ordinator is on leave – excellent skills!!
