Sue is the glue that holds the paeds dietetic team together! She is a dedicated professional member of the paeds team covering allergy, metabolic, diabetes and anything else that comes onto the ward. Sue has a huge knowledge base and is always willing to share, teach and develop this with the wider team. Sue seeks any opportunity to strength her knowledge and ensure she is providing the best patient care. Sue works with children and families to ensure that their care plans are understood and that the parents feel heard and supported. Sue is always willing to explore complex issues and will find solutions to meet the specific needs of the patient and family. Sue is kind, compassionate and empathic to our patients, and is always positive and good humoured, especially when there is a KitKat on her desk! Sue is a wonderful supportive colleague to work with and is a very popular member of our dietetic team and the wider paeds community on level 12.
