Jade is one of our amazing managers in the children and young people’s eating disorder service at Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust. A dietitian by background, she is all that and more, showing amazing knowledge and commitment every day in her work. Everything she does for us and for our patients and their families shows compassion and a real sense of caring.

She never hesitates to answer a query, listen to a thought process, or even join us if she is available, and if not she will always signpost to someone else who can.

What makes her truly special as a manager though, is her ability to empower her team. Jade embodies the role of a leader rather than just a boss, helping us to recognise our own potential, knowledge, skills and abilities, and truly celebrating our achievements. She makes you feel like she’s always got your back, but most importantly, like you can stand on your own, because she believes in you

The NHS and the caring professions would do well with a few more Jades helping to develop and encourage brilliance in the services we provide.
