Consistently excellent supervisor, particularly supporting and developing IMG doctors to meet their full potential and achieve their career plans.
Indra bends over backwards to support trainees. He has frequently taken on additional supervision roles for trust grade or non-training doctors that are not officially recognised in his job plan.
He is always one of the first to volunteer to undertake teaching.
He brings personal experience, but also system knowledge of how best to direct and support trainees who are new to the NHS or are returning to work, including helping to develop an IMG handbook for the trust and acting as IMG and SUPPORTT lead for the trust.
Indra has previously won this PAFTA, and the reason is clear. He continues to be an exceptional supervisor and colleague.
