Andy is absolutely amazing at his job. He always approaches every situation with care and supportiveness. He provides the doctors and the nursing staff which learning opportunities. Andy is always such an absolute pleasure to work with and we always look forward to having him down in ED.

Dr Andy Robinson is a fantastic consultant for paediatrics. He shows such dedication and commitment to the role and will constantly check to see everyones okay and will offer support and gratitude for everyones work and commitment to their job roles. Wildgoose ward in particular can sometimes deal with some challenging patients and just recently Andy offered his support to help all staff involved and personally, that really stood out for me, so thank you Andy.

Andy works tirelessly in his role as paediatric consultant. He shares his time across departments including Paediatric ED and CAU. Throughout his work Andy takes time to educate others as he goes, sharing his knowledge and evidence base. He appropriately challenges others to provide the best care for their patients. He is a true role model for many working within paediatrics, advocating for the children and families he comes into contact with. We are extremely grateful to have Andy as part of our team and all patients are privileged to receive his care.

Where do we start, Andy is full of energy, passionate about the care of children and their families, always available for help, support and advice. Andy depicts the meaning of a consultant , as team we couldn’t be prouder that he is part of our team , striving to keep paediatric care alive and an enjoyable place to work. Thankyou Andy.

Clearly has a plan for paeds, is always fully supportive of his staff and is always willing to provide teaching and education.

Andy is one of the voices of the department, continuously advocating for the department, the paediatric team and our patients. You’re always so willing to teach others and I have learnt so much from you. The department simply wouldn’t be the same without you and we love the days that you are down working with us. Thank you for all that you do.

Clearly has a clear picture for paeds, is fully supportive of the staff and never hesitates to provide teaching.

We have had a couple of testing shifts on wildgoose ward, one particular shift Andy was there to support, he made sure nursing staff were all ok whilst attending to the needs of a patient. Andy even took over from some of the nursing staff which was really appreciated.
Andy always checks in on how you’re doing on your shift! He is a fantastic doctor and a great asset to the paediatric team. Andy is very approachable and no task is too small.
He is amazing when it comes to communication with patients and families, always advocating for the patient ensuring best care has been given.
